Public Information
If you are working in the field of addiction recovery, in government, the clergy, the helping professions or private voluntary organizations, N.A. has a policy of co-operation. We have sections of our Fellowship tasked especially for this purpose.
The North West England & North Wales Area Public Information Committee is set up to increase awareness of N.A., who it is for and how it works. The PI committee would be glad to send you leaflets, information and local helpline numbers for you and your clients. Presentations to you and/or your clients can be arranged, constructed to your requirements, with members of N.A. who are aslo willing to answer your questions.

Hospitals & Institutions Committee (H&I)
The Hospitals & Institutions subcommittee of the North West England & North Wales Area Service Committee is a group of men and women, members of Narcotics Anonymous, who believe in the concept:
TO ASSURE THAT NO ADDICT IN A HOSPITAL OR INSTITUTION SEEKING RECOVERY NEED DIE WITHOUT HAVING HAD A CHANCE TO FIND A BETTER WAY OF LIFE.
This concept is our primary concern. This will insure that when an addict who is housed in a correctional facility, hospital, or recovery house reaches out for recovery, Narcotics Anonymous will be there.
This committee is a subcommittee of the North West Area Service Committee and is directly responsible to that committee.
The purpose of an H&I subcommittee is to carry the NA message of recovery to addicts who do not have full access to regular Narcotics Anonymous meetings. H&I panels, except for those in longer term facilities, are intended to simply introduce those attending to some of the basics of the NA program.
